Seems we have a hero in our mist... Oliver was awarded a 'Outstanding Achievement Award' for saving his baby sister after she started choking on a small ball, after several well aimed slaps to her back, he successfully dislodge the object from her throat so she could breath properly again! He has also just gain the Super Badger Ward which he has been working on for some time after completing 12 various activities. |
Rebecca has been walking the boards.... as they say as the Golden Harp in a production of Jack and the Beanstalk at Perton Civic Centre, which ran from the 18th - 22nd January. Rebecca has always loved singing and dancing and began performing at the age 3. Her first principal role, when she was 5. She is a member of several production companies, who know we may see her in East Enders in years to come! |

Young Writers!
Recently D'Eyncourt School submitted some of our Year 2 children’s work for 'Young Writers' My First Acorostic competition. In this exciting competition, children were asked to write a piece of acrostic poetry on a theme that inspired them. The competition was used as an introduction to poetry and creative writing that children found both inspiring and fun. This competition received in excess of 43,000 poems from all over the UK and overseas, so it is with great pride to announce that 15 of our children’s work were selected for publication based on creativity and imagination. |
