Our school activity videos

The above animation was a message from Laura Hague in Year 6 which accompanied her wonderful dancing she did for Mr Arnold’s leaving assembly.

Thank you for your generosity in so many ways. Your generosity in the way that you have sent me very warm wishes for the future and your generosity in the many gifts I have received.  However your greatest support is in the way you have supported the school in every way to encourage your children to do their best.  I wish you all every good luck in the future and I know you will continue to support the school and its staff in everyway possible.
The Governors, the L.A and the deputy Mr Bull (on behalf of all the staff) paid tribute to the 26 years of dedicated service given by Mr Arnold. Mr Arnold replied in an entertaining speech as always, which likened D'Eyncourt to a ship. Fortunately, under his captaincy, it sailed straight and true - even through sometimes choppy waters!.

On Saturday 12th July the PFA held their annual barbeque.  As the forecast was not too good we were prepared for any inclement weather, with two marquees, a tent and various gazebos dotted around the field.  Fortunately the rain didn’t arrive and everyone was able to enjoy the evening outside.  It was a very successful event, the food was delicious and both adults and children had a great evening.
At the end of the night Mr Arnold was presented with a personalised pair of golf shoes which we are sure will be put to good use during his retirement.
The PFA would like to wish Mr Arnold a very enjoyable and healthy retirement and to thank him very much for all his help and support which he has tirelessly given to all events over the years.

In our special 'Well Done' assembly, the children said a heartfelt thank you to Mr Arnold: in song, verse, dance and words.

Some of the children sang in groups songs with words they had made up themselves. Other children performed solo. Some of the performances were very moving such as the beautiful song 'Shalom' and 'When You Believe' which were sung by the choir and had a few of us in tears or very close!

After the children's performances the dinner staff presented Mr Arnold with various gifts one of which was a brick... with his name on, which will be built into a wall at his beloved Molinuex!
This is a very big 'Thank you' from all the children past and present whose 'School Days' have been made all the better for having YOU as their Headteacher.
